Accidents of birth

I think about politics and how ridiculous we must look as a nation to the rest of the world this whole immigration issue, what a circus. . . I mean no child should ever suffer but this is the real world it happens. . . . I don't see people protesting group homes that need repairs, veterans that are on the street. . maybe because I was born here, maybe because my disillusion at what the American dream is. . . when you have to fight for it all. . . and then watch as it is all simply given away. . . but I was born here. . . . I could have been born in Africa lived until I was 4 and starved but here we are. . .
